Hope was Born By Naphtali Banda

On a silent night
A baby was wrapped tight
Bringing warmth to a cold world
A child heaven bound

Heaven to earth is a trip I cant take
Who leaves paradise for suffering?
But for my life his was taken
That I may know no suffering

He gave this world hope
Hope to live beyond life
Hope to exist after death
Indeed, a hope was born

Thousand years ago
A baby laid in that manger
Simple son of a carpenter
Yet greater than a carpenter

He is the holiness
That existed among wickedness
To weaken sin and strengthen righteousness

He is grace
Coming for every race
Taking all to a brand new place
He came to transform our identity giving us a brand new face

He is humility
God living among sinners
Who are we that the son of God could live among us?

Our salvation had to be born in a manger
A light and hope for all
Today, we live as a people full of joy
For all the pain he took away

Thousand years ago Christ was born
Today, Immanuel still amongst us
We may celebrate, we may rejoice
But the question still remains,

Is he born in our lives?
Are you a partaker of this great hope?
Are you expectant to see him one day?
The choice is all yours
But am here to announce
Hope was born
At a moment when

To sin we all died
But when grace was applied
Fate of death we survived
And in us he breathed life

It all began that day
When Hope was born
